About NAAAP-Tucson

Vision of NAAAP National: "NAAAP is the proving ground for North-American Asian Professionals, forging leaders of tomorrow through professional development, cultural awareness, and community service."

The National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) is a non-profit organization which serves to provide Asian American professionals with the tools and resources to better their career development and to empower them to be tomorrow's managers, presidents, CEO's and philanthropists. At over 25 years old, NAAAP is the largest and fastest growing Asian American professional organization in North America, with over 3,000 members and representation in 24 cities.

Mission of NAAAP-Tucson: “To create and sustain an environment that promotes the career advancement and leadership development of Asian American professionals in all fields through networking, continuous professional learning and development, understanding, respecting and leveraging Asian multiculturalism, and active community service.”

NAAAP-Tucson is the local NAAAP "venture" for southern Arizona. We serve the area's Asian American professionals and the Asian American community in general by providing networking and training opportunities for personal and professional growth and cultural awareness. Our membership is open to everyone.

We strive to meet the expectations of our members through a variety of monthly activites, including speaker presentations, workshops, happy hours, and participation in area Asian American cultural events. We reach out to other organizations, so that we can all better achieve our goals as a community.

NAAAP-Tucson was formed in May of 2006, when NAAAP-Arizona split into NAAAP-Phoenix and NAAAP-Tucson, in order to best serve the members of both geographic areas. What had been NAAAP-Arizona was formed in February of 2006. NAAAP-Tucson and NAAAP-Phoenix continue to coordinate and collaborate in a mutually supportive manner.
